Wow, what did they sell, like 5 of them?
When I was in high school, one of my neighbors had its direct competitor, the Mercury Bobcat. It was in surprisingly good shape, and in that reddish burnt orange color that was so popular in the 70's.

That looks very clean. The sunroof isn’t probably original but otherwise it looks like a new car.

It’s not that nobody bought them. It’s that, like most of their Vega siblings, they all dissolved into brown dust within three or four days.

Yeah, the Vega and it’s ilk were basically equivalent to 10 year old used cars from the moment they rolled off the assembly line.
